The Grammy nominations are in and there is some stiff competition this year. Kanye West, Rihanna and newcomer Chance the Rapper are all poised to sweep the awards away this year, but Beyoncé just manages to trump the others with her impressive list of nominations.
Beyoncé is leading the way with a staggering nine Grammy nominations, including the coveted Album Of The Year award with Lemonade. Beyoncé will be up against Adele’s album 25, Purpose by Justin Bieber, plus Sturgill Simpson’s A Sailor’s Guide To Earth. Drake’s Apple Music exclusive, Views, is also up for best album, making it the first album to be nominated without being available in stores or downloading sites.
Beyoncé is also nominated for Best Record, Best Song, Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Music Video, Best Music Film, Best Rock Performance, Pop Solo Performance and Rap/Sung Performance.
