Beyoncé’s New Album Lemonade Now Available in iTunes Store

Beyoncé’s new studio album, Lemonade, is now available to download from the iTunes Store. This follows a brief period during which the album was solely available through the streaming service Tidal.

Tidal, which has picked up a number of exclusives from big name artists since its official launch in April 2015, actually released Lemonade for streaming shortly after Beyoncé’s one-hour HBO special was broadcast on Saturday night. A retail release followed on Sunday, when the “visual album”, with 12 songs and videos, become available through Beyonce.Tidal.com priced at $17.99.

However, that same day, Billboard reported sources claiming that the album would also be released for download through iTunes, Amazon and Google Play after 10pm. Indeed, Lemonade can now be purchased for $17.99 through the iTunes Store; however, Tidal has informed Billboard that it will remain the only service with the streaming rights to the album.
