Britney Spears Among Headliners for Apple Music Festival

Apple has announced an impressive lineup for this year’s Apple Music Festival – where Britney Spears, Elton John, Calvin Harris, Chance the Rapper and Michael Bublé will be among the headline acts.

The performances of that lineup, revealed by Beats 1 presenter Julie Adenuga earlier today, will be available both live and on-demand for Apple Music members on iOS, Mac, Windows PC, Apple TV and Android phones. Other acts for the 10-night series of concerts will include Alicia Keys, Bastille, Robbie Williams, The 1975 and OneRepublic, a favorite band of Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Many of the stars have expressed their excitement about the Apple Music Festival, which will take place at The Roundhouse in London. Spears enthused: “It’s going to be a great party.” Similarly, Keys declared that the festival is “going to be magic”, while The 1975 commented: “We loved playing at The Roundhouse for the 2013 Festival and are excited to be heading back this year.”

This year’s festival will run between September 18 and September 30 – and UK-based music enthusiasts can be in with a chance of winning tickets by entering competitions on Apple Music and via select media partners. Still, however you see the event, it’s bound to be a blast…
