You can now subscribe to HBO through Hulu for less than $15

The popular subscription service Hulu is now gaining HBO as a channel. The add-on is now available to any subscriber for an additional $14.99 per month, allowing them to unlock on demand movies and TV shows at the click of a button.

“Beginning today, viewers using the new Hulu experience can stream all of HBOā€™s critically-acclaimed, award-winning series, blockbuster theatrical movies, documentaries, sports, and comedy and music specials ā€“ both live and on demand ā€“ directly within the new Hulu experience by adding the premium channel to their service for $14.99 per month.”

Alongside HBO, the service will also offer access to the Cinemax movie channel for $9.99 a month. Hulu states that HBO add-on customers will also be able to access the channel’s standalone streaming service HBO NOW without any additional charge. This is something that is bound to prove popular with subscribers, as HBO NOW on its own costs the same $14.99 without commitment.

The Hulu/HBO partnership will include even more access to channels from the premium network in the near future:

“Additional live channels HBO 2, HBO Family, HBO Latino, HBO Comedy, HBO Signature HD, HBO Zone, MoreMAX HD, ActionMAX HD, ThrillerMAX HD, MovieMAX HD, 5StarMAX HD and OuterMAX HD will become available within the add-ons to Hulu viewers in the coming weeks.”
