If you missed the SNES classic pre-order last week you might be feeling somewhat disheartened. Don’t worry, though, Nintendo have now announced that fans can still make a reservation in store up until later this month.
Yesterday, the video game company posted an announcement on Facebook to explain that pre-orders will be available in “various retailers” throughout the U.S. and that there will be plenty of systems available for customers who want to get their hands on one:
We appreciate the incredible anticipation that exists for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition system, and can confirm that it will be made available for pre-order by various retailers late this month.
A significant amount of additional systems will be shipped to stores for launch day, and throughout the balance of the calendar year.
The full announcement can be read here.
The self-contained retro console is set to be launched on 29th September for $79.99 and will include 21 built-in games including the likes of Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario Kart and Final Fantasy III. It will also have two controllers and an HDMI output.
Will you be snapping one up?
