Apple have finally announced the long awaited release date for their original TV show Carpool Karaoke: The Series. The show is set to debut on Apple Music on Tuesday August 8.
Based on the popular segment from The Late Show with James Corden, Apple purchased the rights to Carpool Karaoke in mid-2016 and released the first trailer in February of this year with the intention of debuting it in April.
Produced by James Corden, Ben Winston and Eric Kanowski, there will be 16 half hour episodes in total with celebrity pairs riding in a car as they sing songs together. Each episode will feature a different host and new episodes will premiere on Tuesdays.
The list of celebrities pairings includes Will Smith and James Corden to Game of Throne’s stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner:

Once released, it will be available to Apple Music subscribers in over 100 countries.
