The product is exactly what it’s advertised to be: “The World’s Smallest Portable Power Outlet.” ChargeAll is the first portable battery pack that can power pretty much anything. Charge your laptop while sitting in a class or a meeting. Plug in your blowdryer. Make sure your phone doesn’t run out of battery in the middle of an emergency.
ChargeAll fits perfectly into a backpack, purse, or even a pocket. Size-wise, it’s just slightly taller than an iPhone 5 and only twice the thickness. It comes in two sizes, small and large. The small ChargeAll is 4″ x 1″ x 6″ and runs at 12000 mAh; the large is 5.25″ x 1″ x 7.5″ and runs at 18000 mAh.
The small battery pack maintains enough power to fully charge a Macbook Pro twice over, and the large battery pack can fully charge the same laptop three times. To charge the battery pack itself, simply plug it into a wall outlet. The large ChargeAll has an indicator to tell you how much juice it has left.
ChargeAll does have a limit, and that limit is 85 watts. That means no microwaves, no HD televisions, and no mini fridges. If you do plug in a high-powered device, however, it’s no problem. ChargeAll has a built-in kill switch that will cut the power and turn off your battery pack.
Thus far, ChargeAll has received nearly $290,000 in contributions. The goal is $30,000 by 11:59 p.m. on August 15. Contributors have the chance to get a discount on both the small and large battery packs, with the small running at $99 and the large running at $139. Those who pledge can be part of the ChargeAll Thank You Program and can get the battery pack for free.
