Apple has released a range of Apple Watch bands and faces to represent 22 nations around the world.
Presumably released to coincide with the Olympics 2020, which was delayed following the COVID-19 pandemic, Apple announced the new bands and watch faces on its website yesterday, a series of 22 limited-edition Sport Loop bands with colorful designs that represent nations across the globe.
Alongside each band, users can download a Stripes watch face onto their Apple Watch.
These new International Collection Sport Loop bands are available for the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the US.
Available starting today only at Apple,2 the International Collection Apple Watch Sport Loop bands are available in 40mm and 44mm sizes for $49 (US). The band packaging includes App Clip functionality to easily download the matching countryโs Stripes Apple Watch face.3 Additionally, customers can download any of the 22 watch faces from apple.com and also use Face Sharing to share with other Apple Watch users.
The new watch bands are available exclusively on Apple.com and Apple Retail Stores and sell for $49 in the United States. Each band uses App Clip functionality so corresponding watch faces can be downloaded. Users who donโt want to buy a new strap can still download and use any of the faces from the Apple Watch Store.
