Comply365 Plays Key Role in Frontier Airlines Electronic Flight Bag Solution

Frontier Airlines’ Crews Use Comply365’s Software to Go Paperless. Comply365 is pleased to congratulate Frontier Airlines on its recent approval to use Apple iPad tablets as their Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) in all phases of flight. Comply365 was a key partner in the intensive testing and approval process and is providing the electronic document distribution platform to enable Frontier to move from paper to electronic manuals and communications. In order to receive FAA approval, Frontier completed extensive testing to ensure the tablet device would not interfere with any of the aircraft systems, and to ensure all applications were of the highest reliability.

With Document & Communication Manager, pilots are able to instantly access the most recent documents, manuals, and communications on their Apple iPad tablets at any phase of flight — on the ground and in the air. The ability for crews to have access to policies, procedures and communications regardless of connectivity is crucial to safety.

Moving to Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) saves the airline hundreds of thousands of dollars in fuel costs annually. The airline will realize substantial savings in printing and distribution costs. Additionally, the innovative mobile solution enhances safety with instant, up-to-date information for flight crews. Further efficiencies are gained with real-time reports for management and regulatory agencies.

“We are thrilled to partner with Frontier in providing innovative, easy-to-use and reliable access for pilots and flight crews to access their policies, procedures and other critical information during all phases of flight,” said Kerry Frank, CEO, Comply365. “With our mobile app and enterprise solution, Frontier reduces operational costs and improves safety,” added Frank.

“We are very excited for the opportunity to reduce costs and our carbon footprint while improving reliability and safety,” said Scott Gould, Frontier’s Vice President of Flight Operations. “We are proud to continue moving forward in implementing this technology for all phases of flight.”

Frontier is an innovative leader in aviation and is leveraging Comply365’s full suite of solutions -productivity suite that gives companies a powerful and easy way to manage, automate and track content and compliance — training suite that enables companies to create, deliver, track and schedule training across for all personnel, and the business automation and insight suite that includes workflow automation, Pathways, and dashboards. Users can access documents, comply with documents and complete forms on any pc or tablet and, as a result, trigger seamless workflows in the background that routes the form data or content action to a database for real-time dashboard analytics and insight. The airline now has enterprise mobility, full document and workflow automation as well as real-time dashboards and insight. Frontier benefits in many areas including significant fuel and other cost savings, reduced risk, operational efficiencies, and time savings by using Comply365’s powerful, mobile enterprise solutions.
