Rumors are circulating that Apple could launch three iPhones this year. It’s been suggested that a plastic-coated 6C would be in development alongside flagship models. Sources apparently told DigitTimes that the phone would bring a return to the 4-inch display.
The phone is thought to be in the pipeline alongside the iPhone 6S and 6SPlus. All three models will reportedly include Corning Gorilla Glass 3 displays, NFC connectivity and Touch ID sensors. It’s though that the 6C will contain the A8 chip, whilst the other two phones will include the new A9 processor.
The 5C was a huge success for Apple, and its sales didn’t seem to be overly affected by the arrival of the iPhone 6. The company is expected to refresh its iPhone line in September.
