Dolce Vita Games Brings the Circus to the iPhone With New Game Circus Life

Former Circus Performer Launches New Development Studio and First Game About a Little Man Seeking Love Through the Circus

ROME, ITALY — (Marketwired) — Dolce Vita Games, a new European mobile game developer, is launching today along with its first title, Circus Life, now available for free from the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. Created by real-life circus performer and former actress Irina Vaganova, and inspired by the nostalgic feel of a Depression-era traveling circus, the game follows the story of a sad little man who dreams of joining the circus, becoming a star, and marrying the beautiful woman with whom he’s fallen hopelessly in love. But first, he must complete a series of circus chores to appease the evil Circus Director. Players will test their speed and reflexes in a series of mini-games, dodging dangerous obstacles, earning points and achievements, and unlocking new levels.

Founder and CEO Irina Vaganova was raised in the Russian circus, the daughter of a gymnast and a horse handler. Irina began performing at age three and traveled the world, starring in a contortionist show alongside her sister. In homage to her rich background in the circus, Irina created Circus Life, channeling her lifelong passion for video games into a whimsically dynamic gaming experience based on the daily lives of circus performers. More so, she decided to put her own spin on the gaming industry and formed Dolce Vita Games, a studio that is poised to deliver lighthearted, beautifully animated games for players of all ages.

“Many kids dream of going to the circus, but very few get to live in it,” Irina said. “I designed the game to capture the magical feeling of being behind the scenes — to bring the thrill and triumph beyond the tent and into players’ hands.”

Circus Life combines simple and elegant mechanics with increasingly challenging gameplay and satisfying, tactile controls. Players will dive right in, strategically collecting falling balloons, gathering fast-rolling animal droppings, delivering food to hungry animals and popping high-flying popcorn, all while avoiding hazardous obstacles that threaten to derail their progress.

Circus Life is available in the App Store for free download on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad devices. Download the game at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/circus-life/id730030665?ls=1&mt=8.
