Apple announced the stunning new iPad mini at its September California Streaming event, and with the device set to be released tomorrow, we thought we’d share the new wallpapers so you can use them on your current device.
The Cupertino company unveiled the device, a surprise for the event which had previously been expected to feature only iPhones and Apple Watches, with its larger 8.3-inch Liquid Retina display and A15 Bionic chip, offering 80% faster performance than the previous generation.
The new iPad mini also offers USB-C support and is sold in a 5G-enabled option to allow for on-the-go work.
Speaking of the new iPad mini at the event, Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, said: “With its ultra-portable design and wide range of uses from everyday tasks to creative and enterprise applications, there’s nothing else like iPad mini.
“With a new all-screen Liquid Retina display, a massive boost in performance, new advanced cameras on the front and back, Center Stage, USB-C, 5G, and support for Apple Pencil, the new iPad mini is a huge leap forward that can be held in the palm of your hand.”
