Eerie drone footage shows Apple Park Campus now empty

New drone footage has revealed that the Apple Park Campus is now empty.

As Apple enforces a new work from home policy during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, a video from Duncan Sinfield has revealed that the company’s headquarters are abandoned.

Footage from the Apple Park campus, which opened in April 2017 followed by an opening concert by pop singer Lady Gaga in May 2018, shows no people on the campus, and the parking lot has also been abandoned, as Apple employees follow government regulations.

Apple Park is located in Cupertino in the Santa Clara County, the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in Northern California. To protect workers and campus, the park is now closed until further notice, alongside Apple Stores in the area and around the world.

Apple first made the decision to ask employees to work from home on March 8, and though there will likely be several employees who remain on-site to provide essential services, the vast majority of employees are now at home, following a shelter-in-place order from Santa Clara County.

There’s no clear sign on when this order will be lifted, so for now, the campus will remain unmanned for an unspecified amount of time.
