Facebook has announced that its live video broadcast feature Facebook Live, which arrived on the iOS app in the US last month, is rolling out to over 30 more countries “in the coming weeks”.
Facebook hasn’t specified which exact countries are following the US in getting Facebook Live. Anecdotally, 9to5Mac writer Ben Lovejoy reports that he is yet to see the option of Facebook Live in his app in the UK.
However, many Facebook users outside the US should soon be able to share live video by tapping “What’s on your mind?” on News Feed before selecting a new Live Video icon.
