If you love to regularly use Facebook on a Windows 10 computer or tablet, consider that the social media site’s main app for that operating system has just been updated with minor tweaks.
The fresh update, which brings the app to version 58.0.57.140, has removed the Live Video icon from the news section; now, it appears only on the user’s wall. Anecdotally, MSPoweruser adds that “the app also appears to open somewhat faster now”. The site does not mention finding any other changes.
A boost in speed wouldn’t be too surprising – as Facebook pledges, in the latest version notes, that “every update of our Facebook app includes improvements for speed and reliability.” The app is free to download for devices running Windows 10 or 8.1 and with x86, x64 and ARM processors.
