Facebook has announced that over a billion people now use its Messenger service every month. To celebrate, Facebook has made sending a balloon emoji in Messenger even more fun…
In a news story on its website, Facebook today noted the big variety of uses to which people put Messenger – including making plans, telling jokes, playing games and much more. In reaching over a billion people monthly, Messenger is “one of only a handful of apps worldwide that touch so many lives.”
Facebook followed up by sending out a big “Thank you” to everyone who uses Messenger. In gratitude, the social media site is debuting a “floating balloon gift that everyone can use to celebrate”. To see it for yourself, you simply have to send a balloon emoji in Messenger for “a touch of whimsy and delight”.
