Faraday Future to Show New Car Concept at CES in January

Faraday Future, the electric car maker that has been rumored to be a “dummy” company for Apple, has indicated its intent to reveal a new car concept at the Consumer Electronics Show in January.

In an email sent to mailing list followers and with the subject line and title of ‘Glimpse Into The Future’, Faraday has said that the new concept will be “inspired by our design and engineering vision”. It also noted that its website will host a livestream of the unveiling event on January 4.

That livestream, which will be viewable through this link and start at 8pm Pacific Standard Time, could excite many people who reckon Apple is likely funding and directing Faraday Future. However, Fortune has been told by “several sources” that this much-mooted theory is not true, and that the “Netflix of China”, a company known as LeTV, is the actual owner of the aspiring Tesla Motors rival.
