Final Fantasy XV May Hit Neo, Scorpio and PC, Director Hints

Hajime Tabata, the director of the upcoming PS4 and Xbox One RPG behemoth Final Fantasy XV, has revealed that he would love to bring the game to the recently announced Neo and Scorpio consoles ā€“ while admitting that his team are open to the future release of a PC version, too.

In an interview with Kotaku, Tabata admitted that, as he was not briefed on Microsoftā€™s Scorpio before it was announced, Square Enix has not started developing any content for it. However, referring also to Sonyā€™s PlayStation 4 Neo, he said that it would be ā€œreally greatā€ for Square Enix to allow gamers to also play Final Fantasy XV using the enhanced capabilities of the ā€œnew, stronger-generation hardwareā€.

Tabata added that Square Enix is ā€œthinking about a PC versionā€. However, it remains far from a foregone conclusion; he insisted that ā€œuntil we’ve got the console versions finished, we really aren’t gonna think anymore about thatā€.
