First MacBook Pro orders will be delivered today

9 to 5 Mac

The first 2018 MacBook Pro models will be delivered today, following yesterday’s release.

Apple originally announced a July 16 – 18th delivery date, but it seems those who opted for next day delivery with shipments included will receive theirs tomorrow.  9to5Mac reports that customers have already had their cards charged.

It appears that those who have purchased built-to-order 13 and 15-inch MacBooks will not receive theirs until July 19 and July 23, and in-store pickup for stock machines is not yet available. In the press release, Apple noted they would be available in “select Apple retail stores and Apple Authorised Resellers later this week.”

The two new MacBooks include some very exciting new features:

  • Up to 32GB of DDR4 memory
  • Powerful Radeon Pro discrete graphics with 4GB of video memory in every configuration
  • Up to 4TB of SSD storage2
  • True Tone display technology
