Apple could offer Apple Fitness+ content in foreign languages in the years ahead.

Yesterday, the Cupertino company launched the fitness service in 15 new languages, and Jay Blahnik, Apple’s VP of Fitness Technology, sat down for an interview with a Brazilian newspaper to discuss the future.

Apple Fitness+ has been available in the United States for almost a year and offers consumers the chance to exercise with fitness professionals. Apple currently supports 11 different exercises, and it integrates with Apple Watch to allow users to ‘close their rings’. Classes last anywhere from five minutes to 45 minutes, and the service is priced at $9.99 in the United States. Users who buy an Apple Watch get it free for 3 months.

Speaking of localized content, Blahnik said: “I think we’re open to the possibility to go wherever Fitness+ is. Our goal is to help people be healthy. We want to be able to attract as many users as we can and make their experience the best as possible.

“We would absolutely be open about doing all sorts of things to help make the Fitness experience more enjoyable across the world.”
