Frank Ocean Debuts Visual Album Endless Only on Apple Music

While the world waits for Frank Ocean to give his as-yet-unreleased Boys Don’t Cry album an exclusive debut on Apple Music, the artist has released a different album on the streaming service. This one, Endless, is a “visual album” that is itself currently available solely on Apple Music.

The description “visual album” has been used by an Apple Music representative, who told Pitchfork that Ocean will be releasing more material – presumably also exclusively on Apple Music – this weekend. Johnny Greenwood and James Blake are among the guests on Endless.

It’s unclear whether Boys Won’t Cry will be what Ocean releases this weekend. There has been little communication from the singer’s camp about what has happened to that album – though, in a Reddit chat on Monday, his collaborator and producer Malay attempted to ease fans’ concerns, insisting that “art cannot be rushed” and Ocean was “very focused and persistent… yet very free” with his working.

Endless is far from the only fresh musical material that you can check out on Apple Music! The new issue of AppleMagazine, released today, details other exciting releases, which have also hit the iTunes Store.
