Game of Thrones theme recreated with a Nintendo Labo

A child's hands are playing with a Nintendo Labo model of a piano. Constructed from brown and black cardboard, it features black keys and a minimalist design. The right hand presses a key while the left holds the creation steady.

Nintendo Labo, the creative DIY cardboard toys for the Switch console, have had a surge of attention after Jimmy Fallon assembled The Roots and Ariana Grande for a rendition of her latest track ‘No Tears Left to Cry’. Since then, a well known composer has got his hands on a Nintendo Labo Piano to see if he could recreate his iconic Game of Thrones theme song.

Ramin Djawadi has also scored high profile films including Iron Man, Pacific Rim, and Warcraft but despite his musical genius, had never touched a Nintendo Switch until IGN sat him down in front of a Nintendo Labo Piano to see what he could achieve.

Check out the result below:

This is far from the only tune recreated with one of these cardboard devices. There’s also this amazing rendition of Smashmouth’s ‘All Star’ by a user on YouTube…

Maybe it’s not long before we see the first Nintendo Labo band.
