Get six months Apple News+ for free as a new subscriber

Apple News

If you’re yet to try Apple’s premium news subscription service, you’re in luck!

Best Buy is now offering customers six months free Apple News+ – saving you $60 – when you buy an Apple device from its store. After buying the device, you’ll receive an email within a week with a link to sign up for a free trial of Apple News+, and it’ll run for up to six months.

The service launched in 2019, and Apple has offered a number of free trials since, most recently offering new customers three or four-month subscription passes. However, this is the first time we’ve seen the company extend the offer to six months.

Apple News+ is also available as part of the Apple One subscription service at $29.99/mo.

Users who subscribe to the service can access hundreds of digital magazines, newspapers, and audio content on the Apple News+ platform.

Last year, the company added a new audio stories feature, bringing some of the biggest content on the platform to life and offering more digestible news and comment. Apple has also been adding new local and regional content to its platform in the United States, with titles like the Miami Herald now available on News+.
