GFXBench Posts Evidence of Future Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini

Is Samsung about to bring out a smaller version of its popular Galaxy S6 handset? There is new evidence of not only such a smartphone coming soon, but also many of its vital specs.

A mysterious list of specs for a handset only identified as ‘SM-W2016’ has been posted to the website of benchmarking system GFXBench. The ‘SM’ tag and mention of 2016 seem to indicate that it is a Samsung smartphone to be released next year – but what Samsung smartphone exactly?

The small handset is also apparently to come with 3GB of RAM and Android 5.1.1 out of the box.

Tradition also hints strongly at this being a listing for the Samsung Galaxy S6 Mini, as the South Korean company has previously introduced smaller versions of each of its other Galaxy S handsets. A diddy-size Galaxy S6 is actually overdue, but remains speculation – for now…
