The latest speculation surrounding the iPad Pro suggest that the yet-to-be announced device will come with a 12.2-inch display as well as a next-generation A9 processor. The Japanese magazine Mac Fan claims to have obtained new information about the device and says that it has been rebranded the iPad Air Plus, similar to the latest range of iPhones.
Rumors have been circulating that the device will be as thin as the iPhone 6, with the article seeming to support these claims. The magazine also claims that the new device will be released as the same time as the new iPad Mini in Q2 2015, although some have said that it will be launched before this.
It was thought that the device would be launched with the iPad Air 2 and mini 3 in October, but this failed to materialize. Some also suggested that it would come with a 12.9 inch display, but it seems users will have to settle for a still-sizeable 12.2 inches. It’s also predicted that the tablet will feature four speakers, resulting in stereo sound regardless of which way it is being held.
