Google announces the launch of App Maker as part of G suite for business

Google have been hard at work creating a user-friendly service that allows easy drag-and-drop style app building for businesses. This tool was designed to help companies create both very basic apps with single purposes and more complex multi-functional apps.

The tools available let users drag in Google Maps data, information from other G Suite applications and practically any other service offering an API.

App Maker will be based on the functionality that Google used to build hundreds of their own apps but reimagined to be much easier for consumers to navigate and use.

App Maker product manager Ajay Surie states that ā€œas your application scales to hundreds of thousands of users, thatā€™s taken care for youā€. The smooth integration with the rest of G Suite will help streamline business operations even more.

The app has been tailored for businesses, but Google may develop App Maker into something that will be able to host services across the web.
