Google unveils new Pixel range, including new Phone and Watch

Google has unveiled the next version of its Pixel phone and the all-new Pixel Watch.

The company unveiled the products at a special event, telling attendees that the new range “turns day to day problems into truly delightful experiences”.

The new Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro follow a similar design to last year’s models, but are a “refinement of Pixel, simplifying the parts and construction to make phones that are sophisticated and distinct.” Google is powering the new smartphones with the second-generation Google Tensor G2, the only processor that brings Google’s artificial intelligence and machine learning directly to the phone.

The new Google Pixel Watch, on the other hand, is the first smartwatch to provide the best of Google and Fitbit, manufactured from a custom-developed 3-D coverglass that’s durable and scratch resistant, with three distinct jewelry inspired stainless steel finishes in black, silver and gold. Like the Apple Watch, the new Pixel Watch is sold with a number of watch bands — active, stretch and woven, metal and leather — and customizable watch faces.
