Google’s Santa Tracker Showing Saint Nick’s Global Travels

We’ve arrived at the most hectic time of year for Santa Claus, who certainly has a lot of traveling and present-delivering to do in the night before Christmas. Furthermore, you can now check where in the world the jolly bearded one is and has been, thanks to Google’s Santa Tracker.

Google now routinely sets up its Santa Tracker every festive season, giving visitors to http://santatracker.google.com/ the opportunity to see which cities and countries the iconic personification of the holidays has been visiting.

Santa also provides Twitter-style status updates from time to time; his sleigh is working great, so he’s reported at the time of writing. The Santa Tracker is even surprisingly good for cluing up on global geography, as it’s possible to learn more about the places Santa’s visited by clicking on the map markers.

Though we still have to wait a bit longer for Christmas Eve night here in the US, international time zone differences mean that Santa is already busy delivering pressies in Asia before he arrives over here. Santa, if you’re reading this – our presents are in the sack which seems to have all the Apple products in it.
