Apple has confirmed that its HomePod mini device will be available for sale in Finland, Norway, and Sweden next week.

In a press release, the company announced that the smart speaker would launch on December 13 online and in Apple retail stores in three countries, expanding the reach of the popular product in time for Christmas.

The product will be sold at 1,249 Norwegian Krone, 1,249 Swedish Krone, or 109 euros, similar to pricing in other European countries, and it will be available in the same colour options as the US.

Since the launch of the HomePod mini, Apple has significantly increased its market share, taking a bite out of Google and Amazon’s dominance in the space. Apple’s device grew 29% year-over-year to become the top-selling smart speaker in the first quarter of 2022, and its market share doubled in 2021.

The affordable HomePod mini offers access to Apple’s voice assistant Siri with 360-degree sound and a number of features, such as voice recognition and tap-to-play. The service also supports the Matter smart home standard, making it the ideal hub for the home.

Siri‌ is also now available in Finnish, Swedish, and Norwegian.
