If you’re an Apple user, you may have subscribed to one of the many services that the company offers such as Apple TV, Apple Music, or Apple News.
However, with the recent price increase for some of these services in October 2022, some users may be considering if they still want to spend money on them. Cancelling your subscription is easy, and can be done through the App Store or the Settings app.
To cancel your subscription through the App Store on your iPhone or iPad, simply open the App Store app, tap on your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner, tap on Subscriptions, and then tap on the active subscription you wish to cancel.
Confirm the cancellation and you’re done.
You can also cancel your subscription through the Settings app. Open the Settings app, tap on your Apple ID, tap on Subscriptions, and then tap on the active subscription you wish to cancel. Confirm the cancellation and you’re done.
If you’re using a Mac, you can also cancel your subscriptions through System Preferences or the Mac App Store. Open System Preferences, click on the Apple ID section, click on Media & Purchases, and then click on Manage beside Subscriptions. Find the subscription you want to cancel and click on the “Edit” button, then select “Cancel Subscription”.
Alternatively, open the Mac App Store, click on your account, click on Account Settings, sign in to the App Store and then in the Manage section click on “Manage” next to Subscriptions. Find the subscription you want to cancel, click on “Edit” and then select “Cancel Subscription”.
If at any time you want to resubscribe to a service, you can follow the same steps as above to access your subscriptions, then find the expired subscriptions and select the service you’d like to renew and follow the prompts to resubscribe.
