How to get another free month of Apple Arcade membership

A colorful, tropical island-themed board game scene with a sandy pathway, surrounded by water. Decorative elements include palm trees, seashells, starfish, a treasure chest, a rocket, and a tiki hut. The board has checkered tiles with an arrow pointing forward. Perfect for fans of new games on Apple Arcade.

Apple is hoping to win back former Apple Arcade subscribers by offering them a free month of access – even if they’ve taken out a free trial in the past and canceled their subscription.

We don’t know exactly how many people have been offered an additional free month, but users on social media have reported that they’ve received emails from Apple offering them another chance to play.

The email reads: “How about another month on us?”

“We’re always adding new games and updates to the Arcade tab, so you’re sure to find plenty to love. Come and see all the new additions with another free month.”

Apple launched Apple Arcade last September, but there was a limited selection of games at the time.

Since then, the company has been adding new titles, and there are now more than 100 to choose from.

All come without in-app purchases or advertisements and can be played on iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, and some on macOS, offering cross-platform gameplay experiences.

It’s likely that Apple wants to win over the former subscribers and show them how much the platform has improved in the nine months since it launched.

Users who are eligible will be sent an email via their iCloud account and can click on “Get Started” to unlock a unique promo code.

This will allow them to access another free month of the service – following that, it reverts to just $4.99 per month, offering access for up to 6 users as part of Family Sharing.
