Apple will begin mass production on iPhone 13 models in India from January.
According to the Economic Daily, Apple’s flagship smartphone production will open in India next year, following a successful trial production run of the iPhone 13. Foxconn will lead the movement and offer more smartphones in India and add another string to Apple’s bow as it reduces its reliance on China.
It’s thought that production will kick off early next year, with mass production beginning from January, and the Foxconn plant will supply the Indian domestic market as well as boost overseas demand for iPhones. It’s thought that around 30% of smartphones produced there will be exported.
Apple launched the iPhone 13 range in September, and since then, it’s the flagship iPhone 13 model that has proven to be the most popular in India. It sells more than the mini as well as the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
