Apple is readying the release of new iPads and Apple Watch models tomorrow (September 8) via a press release, according to reliable Apple leaker Jon Prosser on social media.
Taking to Twitter, Prosser said that Apple has scheduled a press release to show off its new Apple Watch models and iPad models on Tuesday, September 8 at 9 AM EST. However, he adds that the release is not “locked-in”, meaning it could be delayed or canceled entirely.
Apple press release is currently scheduled for Tuesday (September 8) at 9:00am EST — though, I should note that it’s not locked in until the press has been briefed, day of.
I’ll tweet early that morning to update you if it changes.

The news follows Prosser’s previous suggestion that Apple would release new Apple Watch and iPad models in the week of September 7, and a press release on Tuesday would bring that together.
We already know that Apple has delayed this year’s iPhone launch and it’s likely that the company wants to release other products sooner to drive sales and revenue.
In recent weeks, it has been reported that Apple is working on both the Apple Watch Series 6 and a cheaper model to replace the Series 3. It has also been suggested that the iPad and iPad Air could be refreshed, though some insiders argue the iPad Pro is also due an update.
This news follows a Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) filing last month, which revealed several new iPads, Apple Watches, and iPhone models. We know for certain that Apple is working on at least two iPad models and at least six new Apple Watches (in various sizes).
