It’s been less than a week since iOS 10 became available – but, in that time, it has been adopted at a respectable rate, with a third of iOS devices tracked by Mixpanel now running iOS 10.
Figures reported in detail by AppleInsider reveal that iOS 10 is now, to be more precise, on 33.64% of iOS devices detected by the analytics firm Mixpanel. Meanwhile, 61.5% of devices are continuing to run iOS 9, leaving 4.86% of these devices using iOS 8 or an even older version of the operating system.
iOS 10 brings significant revamps to Messages and the Lock screen and redesigns of the Music and News apps, among various other fresh features and tweaks. For supported devices, iOS 10 is now available as a free download via the Settings app’s Software Update page or the iTunes desktop software.
