According to a report in the Economic Daily News, Taiwanese carriers think that the iPhone 12 will be Apple’s most popular device since the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Insiders at the publication suggest that Apple has been working with Foxconn and Pegatron – the two suppliers who are working on the iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max, and iPhone 12 mini – to encourage workers to stay on after hours.

The company has been offering generous bonuses to those who wish to work extra hours to make more devices.

The news follows an earlier report, with revealed that carriers in Taiwan sold out of their allocated iPhone 12 shipments within just 45 minutes of the device going on sale, but we don’t know for certain exactly how many products were available for pre-order.

Apple had a similar situation in the United States, with iPhone 12 Pro model pre-order dates slipping to November within an hour of the pre-order event launching, suggesting incredible demand.

Apple launched the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus back in September 2014, and they were popular because of their larger screens, which came in at 4.7-inches and 5.5-inches respectively.

This is another bumper year for the company as the iPhone features an attractive new design and, for the first time, comes with 5G connectivity as standard.
