iPhone 14 First Look: Renders show off alleged design

iPhone 14 Pro - Silver - True Depth

If you can’t wait to get your hands on the new iPhone 14 later this year, you’re in luck: new renders from FRONT PAGE TECH have given us an early look at what we can expect from the new device.

It’s thought that the new iPhone 14 Pro range will feature a new design with a hole punch and pill notch, but it will keep the same glass and stainless steel finish as the current iPhone 13range. The camera bump will also increase to accommodate a larger, more advanced camera set-up.

The iPhone 14 Pro Max will be slightly thicker than the current model, according to reports, to accommodate a new 48-megapixel camera. Speaking of the camera at a recent insights call, Ming-Chi Kuo said: “The main reason for the larger and more prominent rear-camera bump of the iPhone 14 Pro/Pro Max is upgrading the wide camera to 48MP (vs. 13 Pro/Pro Max’s 12MP).

“The diagonal length of 48MP CIS will increase by 25–35%, and the height of 48MP’s 7P lens will increase by 5–10%.”

Other changes expected are a new A16 Bionic chip, and the removal of the mini iPhone.
