iPhone 6S Display Models and Banner Filmed at Tokyo Store

Tomorrow’s the day that the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are first launched around the world – and, in Tokyo, Apple retail workers have already been filmed setting up new display models.

In Japan, it is currently 3am on September 25 – meaning that the launch of the new iPhones in that country is now just five hours away, when its Apple retail stores will open. A YouTube video shows employees at the Apple retail store in Omotesando, Tokyo preparing during Thursday evening.

The employees can be seen setting up new display units to the backdrop of a lengthy digital banner advertising the phones with the easily recognizable fish on their screens. The video was posted by Shawn DaSilva, who comments in the description: “Walked by the Omotesando Apple Store in Tokyo on my way home from work. Took some shots to share.”

DaSilva adds: “Sorry for the low quality, it was shot and edited on my phone.” We don’t know whether he is among the millions who have preordered or reserved an iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus, but he certainly comes across as a likely fan of the 12-megapixel rear camera that is among the many exciting additions to the new handsets.
