iPhone 6S Models to Outsell iPhone 6 Models, Survey Suggests

Given Apple’s considerable success in selling units of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, some commentators could be tempted to suggest that the Cupertino company is due sales that are more faltering with its next line of iPhones. However, results of a new survey suggest that those people could be proven wrong.

As pointed out by MacRumors, the larger screens introduced with the 6 and 6 Plus models has contributed much to their popularity. Still, much recently-unearthed evidence suggests that the next iPhones will bring just small modifications over the existing models. This would give many users of these handsets less incentive to upgrade… surely?

Actually, judging from responses given by 6,000 people to a new survey by RBC Capital Markets, relatively strong loyalty to Apple among its customers should enable it to further boost iOS adoption and revenue. 83.4% of current iPhone customers reported intentions to continue with Apple, compared to 64.2% of Samsung customers who indicated unfaltering loyalty to Apple’s South Korean rival.
