Apple Selling iPhone SE for $249 Once More

Four iPhone SE devices are shown from the back, each in different colors: Space Gray, Rose Gold, Silver, and Gold. Lined up in a row against a white background, they proudly display the Apple logo and the word "iPhone SE" at the bottom. Starting at just $249, these are a stylish bargain.

Apple is giving fans another chance to own the iPhone SE.

The discontinued smartphone is once again available to purchase through Apple’s online store’s Clearance section, although as we have seen with previous releases, the stock will likely be short-lived and will disappear from sale in the coming days.

Since the beginning of 2019, Apple has been adding the iPhone SE for limited periods on a discount, available in all four color options (Space Gray, Silver, Rose Gold, and Gold).

The 32-gigabyte model is available for $249, more than $100 off from its typical listing price, while the 128-gigabyte version is available at $299 – $150 off its typical list price.

All of the iPhone SEs available to purchase come unlocked.

It’s unknown how long fans will have to purchase the device from the Apple Store, but as we have seen on previous occasions, availability typically lasts a couple of days.

It is likely that Apple is finding old SE stock and selling it at a discounted rate, although some have suggested the firm has ordered production of the device for another season.

The iPhone SE is one of Apple’s most popular and well-received smartphones to date, famed for its compact size and Touch ID.

The device was officially discontinued in September of 2018, despite many hoping for an SE 2 at a keynote speech. What was offered instead was the iPhone XR, a much larger screen with no home button or Touch ID.

According to Fast Company, Apple has no plans to release an iPhone SE 2 in 2019, although things can change as the company looks to introduce new product lines.
