iPhone SE and 9.7-Inch iPad Pro Go on Sale in 13 Territories

The 4-inch iPhone SE and 9.7-inch iPad Pro have today arrived in bricks and mortar retail stores in the first 13 territories around the world. This means that, at least theoretically, you can now walk into an Apple Store and buy either device – though initial demand evidently could be outstripping supply…

On Apple’s US website, numerous models of the iPhone SE and new iPad Pro show shipping delays of several days. This suggests that it could take Apple some time to catch up with early demand for the devices. The other territories in this first release wave are Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, the United Kingdom and US Virgin Islands.

Apple has not revealed preorder numbers; however, according to CNBC, over 3.4 million preorders were placed for the iPhone SE through Chinese retailers. The report adds that gold topped the others in popularity, with 1.3 million orders; rose gold closely followed with 1.2 million.

Meanwhile, some of the lucky people who have already got hold of devices have been showing them off on Twitter…
