iPhone X orders start shipping on time for tomorrow’s launch

Customers with Apple Store iPhone X orders have been given the good news that their device is now shipping today, ahead of the promised launch date of November 3.

Although dispatch notifications for iPhone X’s are relatively meaningless (most have already begun making their way through plane freight and delivery couriers at this point), many customers were still excited to receive the official confirmation.

When pre-orders began a week ago, launch day stock ran out within a matter of minutes and the Apple Online Store is currently quoting a 5-6 week shipping wait for new customers. However, those lucky customers who secured a November 3 delivery date should see their order’s status switch to ‘shipped’ at any point within the next few hours.

Apple will have in-stock iPhone X’s available for walk-in customers tomorrow although it’s expected that there will be a very long wait. Macrumors has created a guide for those planning to wait in line.
