It’s no longer possible to purchase the iPod Touch in many countries as the device sells out.
The news comes just a couple of weeks after Apple announced it was discontinuing the product line.
Now, as stocks run dry, the device is being removed entirely from the Apple.com website in many countries and territories, with consumers now unable to purchase the device directly from Apple. It marks the end of an era, with Apple no longer selling a music player, and instead encouraging users to buy an iPhone or iPad.
At the time of writing, it’s no longer possible to buy an iPod Touch in Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and more. The product page is still live in some countries, like the United States, but many models are now out of stock or have limited availability, so it’s worth buying an iPod Touch now if you’d like one before they’re gone.
Since last year, the iPod Touch product page had been removed from the header of the Apple website, where it had previously lived under the Music tab. Now, the product page has been removed entirely in many countries.
If you’re still looking to buy an iPod Touch in a country where it’s no longer sold, it’s worth heading to your local Apple Store or speaking to an Apple Authorized Reseller. Third-party retailers may also have new stock available.
