Apple has shared a new screen advert for its music streaming service Apple Music – and James Corden, who has established more than a loose association with Apple in recent weeks, stars in the quirky affair.
In the advert, Corden pitches various ideas for Apple Music commercials to Apple executives Eddy Cue, Jimmy Iovine and Bozoma Saint John. Sadly for Corden, his eccentric ideas, including dressing up as David Bowie and the Spice Girls and swimming amid 40 million apples, aren’t exactly embraced.

Naturally, many features of Apple Music, including offline listening, curated playlists and a library of over 40 million songs, are promoted amid Corden’s desperate pitching.
A new TV series of the Carpool Karaoke segment of Corden’s Late Late Show will premiere on Apple Music from – as revealed by Apple CEO Tim Cook at Apple’s last media event – early next year. Corden will not host it, though he did make a cameo appearance as he helped open the iPhone 7 launch event.
