That being said, we will be providing coverage of the Apple “iPad Mini” Event which takes place tomorrow as quickly and effectively as possible. We are expecting big things to come from the Cupertino-based firm, including topics and releases like: The iPad Mini, an iBooks revamp, and upgrades to both the Mac Book and iPad HD. There is going to be a lot of excitement, hype, and of course answered questions. We are very excited to finally have some solid news concerning each of these topics!
But for those of you who haven’t been anxiously awaiting the event, here is a little recap concerning the latest rumor mill.
– The price point of the iPad Mini is up in the air. While at one point looked like it would be competitive, around USD $259, the latest rumor is that it will start around USD $329 and offer an almost 8-inch screen. Aside from that, analysts are expecting the smaller device to be pretty much unchanged internally. Although, from a personal standpoint, I would love to see the addition of the new A6 chip.
– iBooks is getting a makeover, and Apple is making some big promises concerning the new structure of the already established application. As you’ll recall, Apple already announced big changes to iTunes in a recent event, so I think we can expect to see some interesting developments for iBooks tomorrow.
– The MacBook and iPad HD will both get internal and possibly external upgrades. Rumors suggest that the “new MacBook” will look sleeker, slimmer, and feature better hardware. Likewise, the iPad HD is expected to get the new lightning connector, and possibly some introductions like the A6 Chip and 4G cellular support.
Be sure to stick with us here tomorrow as we bring you news from the event! And feel free to join in on the discussion!
