Previously exclusive to Nintendo’s ill-fated Wii U, Lego City Undercover will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC in Spring 2017, it has been announced.
Lego reported the news on its official Twitter page today. Though the initial tweet mentioned only PS4, Xbox One and Switch as the platforms, in a follow-up tweet, Lego explained that the game will also be available for Windows PC through Steam.

Lego City Undercover was originally released for the Wii U in 2013. It is a sandbox-style action-adventure that is developed by TT Games, a purveyor of plenty of highly acclaimed Lego titles including Lego Dimensions, and based on the Lego City line of toys.
Lego City Undercover, where the player takes detective Chase McCain on a mission to halt Rex Fury’s criminal efforts, was itself well-received upon its initial release. Therefore, it’s nice to see that many more gamers will finally get the chance to play it.
In other tweets, Lego has revealed that the game will be “remastered”, which suggests that we can expect enhanced graphics. It’s unclear exactly how much new will be added to the game, but Lego has said that it reveal more information “over the next couple of months”.
