The latest blockbuster Star Wars adventure will be revisiting us in Lego form this summer. It has been announced that the game Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens will arrive on a wide range of platforms on June 28, offering varied gameplay and even, especially excitingly, new storylines.
Variety reports that the game, which will be developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, will offer gameplay opportunities to build, battle and fly, plus storylines shedding light on events between those of Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens.
This suggests that the game will, despite its obviously more eccentric visual character compared to the broader body of Star Wars merchandise, provide its own additions to the canonical Star Wars story. The new trailer also makes an amusing watch for the many millions who have recently seen the movie.
