Microsoft Invites Vote on Which Casual Game to Make Next

Long before Microsoft entered the hardcore gaming arena with such sophisticated behemoths as Halo, it was still known for making casual titles like Minesweeper and Solitaire. Now, the Microsoft Casual Games division has invited the public to vote on which game concept it should develop next.

The team has given voters the choice of five new concepts: Casino Collection, Chess, Ultimate Word Games, Hearts and Bubbles. They have even put together a video introducing the concepts, though we have to admit that it’s a lot more humorous than insightful…

The Microsoft Casual Games website is, however, quite a bit more informative, detailing more about what each of the concepts would entail and what you need to do to get voting. Microsoft also allows voters to become a Microsoft Casual Games Inner Circle member to see early development builds of the winning concept. The voting period closes on December 17.
