Microsoft has released an update which brings bug fixes and other improvements to the Xbox One’s operating system… but, for now, only for members of the Xbox One Preview program.
This freshly-released update is build 14390. MSPoweruser reports that the raft of tweaks being delivered to Xbox One Preview Members who receive this update include, in the Movies & TV app, a correctly-updating progress bar when the user plays, rewinds or fast forwards.
Also resolved is an issue where, in the Xbox Universal Store, certain currencies could be prevented from appearing in-game following purchasing from the Store. Also, in My Games & Apps, scrolling should no longer lead to lost focus – while another issue where users trying to install games and apps could become stuck in a loop and get the error “Something went wrong 0x80073d00” has been rectified.
Members of the Xbox One Preview program can now download build 14390 onto their Xbox One consoles. Non-members can receive the improvements upon the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update for the Xbox One, which is expected to occur after 2 August, on which day Windows 10 PCs and Mobile devices will get the update.
