The sight of an Apple Store is rarely far away in a major city, but how many times have you seen a Microsoft-branded retail store? The relative rarity of Microsoft Stores could, however, soon be a thing of the past. Not only is the company busy converting former Nokia Stores around the globe into Microsoft reseller stores, it is also preparing for the openings of two of its own retail stores in Florida and New Jersey in June.
The first opening will occur in the Florida city of Sarasota – to be more specific, at The Mall at University Town Center – on June 11, before the other store opens at Willowbrook Mall in the township of Wayne in New Jersey two days later. Furthermore, for both events are pledged exciting summer treats!
Avid gamers should definitely endeavor to attend either of these openings, as they will each include special Xbox One events. There are also set to be plenty of product giveaways and offers. We are not certain of all of the products that you could get your hands on inexpensively at these big store openings, but we would be surprised if consistently popular items, like Xbox One consoles and games and Surface tablets and accessories, are not among them.
