Microsoft is fast developing its retail presence globally, as particularly seen with its conversion of Nokia stores into Microsoft Authorized Resellers. Now, quick on the trail of similar openings planned in Florida and New Jersey, a Microsoft Store will open at the Stonebriar Center in the Texas city of Frisco on June 25.
As with the above mentioned two store openings, there will be far more than just ribbon-cutting when the Texas store first becomes available for business. Accompanying the big day will be several exciting special offers, among them the Dell Inspiron 15 for just $399 – a saving of $300 – and a new HP Stream 7 with a price tag of just $49, less than half its usual retail price.
Visiting the store will also give you a great opportunity to try out Windows, Surface and Xbox products first-hand and ask staff questions about the products that leave you especially tempted to spend.
However, if you do want to attend the opening, you should get there early. We say that as Microsoft will be giving out gift cards of random values to the first 500 people queuing up to enter the store. There’s a chance of you getting your hands on a card worth as much as $1,000!
